Irina Miroshnichenko’s Final Days: A Tragic Tale

Who was Irina Miroshnichenko?

Irina Miroshnichenko was a popular actress in the Soviet Union in the 1970s and ’80s. She starred in films such as “If Only…” (1979) and “The Trust” (1982). She died on August 3, 2023, at the age of 81.

Causes of Irina Miroshnichenko’s death.

Miroshnichenko was hospitalized on June 30, 2023, with the flu. She was initially placed in the intensive care unit, but her condition soon improved. She was discharged from the hospital on July 10, 2023.

However, Miroshnichenko’s health began to deteriorate again in late July. She was hospitalized on July 28, 2023, with pneumonia. Her condition worsened rapidly, and she was placed in a medically induced coma on August 1, 2023.

Miroshnichenko died on August 3, 2023, without regaining consciousness.

A medical source said the cause of the actress’ death was multiple organ failure due to septic shock. The condition of 81-year-old Miroshnichenko, who fell ill with the flu, was complicated by concomitant diseases, and it all started with a common cold. Since early 2023, the star was suffering from bronchitis, which eventually turned into pneumonia.

According to KP reports citing a close friend of the actress, Miroshnichenko was first seen in a private clinic, but could not cope with the treatment there. The star spent two weeks in the hospital, but this could not prevent the development of the infectious process in the lungs. When it became clear that Miroshnichenko could not be saved in a private clinic, he was sent to a public hospital, but it was too late.

The actress died on 3 August. Irina Petrovna will be buried at the Troyekurovskoye Cemetery in Moscow. The farewell ceremony of the actress will take place at the Moscow Art Theatre. Chekhov on August 7.
