Changed their name from Sweeter Than Sugar to 702 (Las Vegas' area code). Debuted on Subway's "This Lil' Game We Play" commercial in 1995.

The Big Leagues: Motown Records 

Signed to Motown Records through a joint venture deal. Released three studio albums: No Doubt (1996), 702 (1998), and Star (2003). Had four singles reach the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100, with two singles.

The Star Era Crafted By Pharrell And The Neptunes 

Third studio album, Star, released in 2003. Pharrell Williams wrote several of the songs on the album. The Neptunes produced the two lead singles: "Star" and "I Still Love You".
